This is one of the concepts I submitted for the WNBA Toronto team. The Toronto North Stars is a name that has been floating around for the past few months and is my favourite out of all the entries so far. The name suits Toronto and I believe the potential of the branding/merch is through the roof.
Main logo - The colours are inspired by the Northern Lights. The logo contains a futuristic collegiate logo - custom made for the North Stars. The backdrop is the City of Toronto’s skyline as a reminder of our roots.
City wordmark - custom made font for the project. This custom font is made combining collegiate, space and NASA. I wanted to create a font that is simple, timeless and futuristic.
